Charity Drive Extended

The Women’s Animal Center

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve extended our charitable drive benefiting the Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem, PA as well as the animals in their care and our community. On behalf of the organization, we’re collecting and greatly appreciate any of the supplies listed here at our Feasterville, PA offices at:

Items In Need

High Priority:

  • Canned Dog Food, unopened and not past expiration date
  • Small Animal Paper Bedding
  • Soft Dog Treats, unopened and not past expiration date
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Dawn Dish Detergent
  • Miracle Nipples with syringes (for kitten feeding)
  • KMR Kitten Formula
  • Pet bed heating pads (microwavable)
  • Dog pads, 23” x 26”
  • Bleach
  • Kuranda Dog Beds (no larger than 25″ W by 39″ L and 5″ H, and preferably 23″ W by 34″ L and 5″ H)

Medium Priority:

  • Towels – new and clean used
  • Soft cat treats, unopened and not past expiration date
  • Non-Clumping Clay Cat Litter
  • Small Animal Food for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs (pellets, treats, alfalfa hay and timothy hay)
  • Chewable Hay Toys for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
  • Cat Toys
  • Leashes, 4-6 ft. nylon or leather, non-retractable

Low Priority:

  • Adaptil and Feliway Spray
  • Freedom Harnesses, all sizes
  • KONGS, XL and XXL
  • EZ Walk Harnesses, all sizes
  • Scratch Pads
  • Jolly Ball Toys
  • Havahart live animal traps for cats (for our TNR program)

Additional Items Needed:

Women’s Animal Center also collects and re-distributes the following items to families in need in our community via area food pantries:

  • Unopened bags of dry dog and cat food (no larger than 20 pounds and not past expiration date)
  • Cans of dog and cat food (unopened and not past expiration date)
  • Dog and cat treats (unopened and not past expiration date)

About This Cause:

As a member of the Philadelphia No-Kill Coalition, Women’s Animal Center is the sole open-admissions animal shelter serving the lower Bucks county area. The organization is committed to providing shelter, medical care, training and adoption services for animals in need.

Annually, the team provides care for over 3,000 animals and contributes to our shared community even further with lost and found services.
